Because I really want to help you get started making money online I am going to share with you one of my favorite niche topics. The topic is crafts. Interest in crafts has spiked over the last couple of years and is still going strong. I mean crafts with a new spin, not “your grandmother’s crafts.”
Lots of younger, urban women have taken to crafts lately, and the new crafting is edgy and sophisticated. It’s kind of Martha Stewart meets urban chic. Check out Craftster, Crafty Chica, Austin Craft Mafia and PDX Supercrafty to see what I mean. Take a look at etsy, too. It’s not limited to urban women by any means, but crafting has definitely become a hip thing to do.
Can you create a website, ebook, forum, or online store that caters to the crafts niche? Can you find crafts related affiliate products to sell on Clickbank, Amazon, or eBay?

When I first got into making money online, I didn’t know anything about finding good niches, researching keywords, or doing search engine optimization (SEO)…and I certainly had no idea how to make a nice clean website.
If you’re at that point right now, you might want to try what I first used to get my feet wet in the internet world. It’s called Site Build It, and as the name implies it is a website building tool. It’s also so much more than that.
