1. It’s a service that people “need” - it’s not just a “want” so eventually they WILL buy, there’s no way around it.

2. When they’re researching this they are ready to buy (or very close to it).

It’s web hosting. Nothing glamorous or exciting, just a basic necessity item for anyone that wants to get online.

There are so many web hosting companies it can be confusing for people to choose, so they look to narrow it down with some (seemingly) honest reviews. There are lots of web hosting affiliate programs but you can start with the ones listed at Commission Junction if you’re already signed up there. They have Host Gator and BlueHost, my two personal faves (that I really use) with payouts of $80-$100 for one sale. Check the terms as they may change the payout.

So, figure out a way to put together a convincing site or blog to help people decide which web hosting company to use. You may want to gear it toward people wanting to set up a wordpress blog and just focus on the web hosting companies that have the easy “one-click” wordpress install. Do some keyword research to get focused. “Cheap web hosting” is a popular search phrase.
